YAMIM NORA'IM   THE DAYS OF AWE

We find ourselves in the month of Elul. It is a time of introspect, a time to look back at the previous year and to ask ourselves; "What sin's may I have committed unintentionally against God and my neighbor?"

The shofar is blown each day, it is a solemn warning, a call to repentance, a reminder that Messiah will come in the clouds, with the shout of the archangel, the blowing of the shofar, and then He shall send the angels to the four corners of the earth to gather His elect!

Yom Kippur - the Day of Atonement, a day when the sacrifices were made for the sins of the nation of Israel! It is a time when we bring to God confession, remorse and repentance as the books are opened will you find your name inscribed in the Book of Life? Our Nation is in need of repentance but repentance must first begin at the House of God!

We invite you to Etz Khayim as we blow the shofar's on Yom Teruah calling God's people back to Him and as we pray prayers of repentance on Yom Kippur!
